Horrible customer servicw

My fiancee placed an order for me today as a nice surprise. He sent a screenshot of the order and I saw he had sent it to the wrong address. So I went to ubereats website to see what I could do. I saw that they had a number if you need to change your address. So i gave them a call the first rep said that they couldn't do anything until the 3rd party driver picks up the order. I asked them if there was a way to contact the driver ahead of time so that they can choose to pick up the order? they said " no, the driver will have to pick up the order and they you will be able to contact the driver and give them the new address. it will be the driver choice after they picked up your food if they want to deliver it to the new address or to choose not to and deliver it to the original address." I they replied back and said "well there is no one at the address they're delivering to. Can I speak with a supervisor? There has to be away to contact the driver before they pick up the order?" the rep put me on hold to get a supervisor. While I was on hold I saw that the driver i claimed my order so I then put ubereats on hold and called the driver and of course the driver did not pickup. So switch back to ubereats and the supervisor was finally on the phone. The supervisor basically repeating the same thing to me letting me know that they have no way to contact the driver before they pick up the order. I told the supervisor that I just called the driver and they didn't pick up. Instead of listening she just kept repeating what she said before. Not, listening to the fact that i already tried to contact the driver. She got frustrated with me because I said "There has to be a better way to fix this. why have it on the website to call this number if your food is being delivered to the wrong address and the solution is for the customer to contact the driver their self and let them know they are going to the wrong address. Its a billion dollar company and there is no way to let the driver know ahead of time that the address is changed?" and she hung up on me. So I called backed and spoke with a very helpful rep that actually took the time to call the driver and to let them know that the address has changed. This rep was able to get in contact with the driver and I was able to get my order delivered to the right address. Which for some reason the supervisor was unable to do. I appreciate the rep that helped, but their system is horrible for customers and drivers.

Ordered food, never got delivered and no refund, driver can't be contacted either.

Driver never delivered the food, Uber says he may have but can't reach him. No refund, no food and on top of that customer service hangs up. Wow! Never had this with Doordash.

Incompetent Uber Eats Drivers Lead to Undelivered Food and Charges

The Uber app allows users to enter thoughtful instructions to help drivers. The problem is a number of drivers do not click on your name to get the information. This leads to calls and interruptions and if you are on another line your food may not get delivered and you have an unnecessary charge without the food. This is happening with greater frequency. One of their drivers refused to come in to deliver and lied about an alleged Uber policy that drivers don't go into buildings. It was a day I stayed in to work and it was my 3rd order of the day. Each time this happens it wastes my time. I had to reorder breakfast this morning and then I've got to haggle with customer service. I should have just gone out for breakfast. It also seems that Uber Eats has much fewer choices than Grub Hub. They really need to up their game. I'm sick of them.

Idiot driver gave my order to random person!

Placed and order from Macdonalds on Darby road. Got the notification from Uber saying driver had arrived. Opened my front door and no one was out front called the driver and he didn't know where he was going. Gave him directions, waited and he never showed up. Checked the app and it showed my order had been delivered! Called the support line and the driver said he gave my food too and old lady. Unfreaking believable! They wouldn't even give me a replacement meal and now I'm stuck waiting for a refund 3-4 business days. First and last time ever using Uber Eats

I CALLED TODAY 1/17/2019 SPOKE TO SOME REP OVER SEAS BY THE NAME OF JANE.. RUDE RUDE RUDE IS ALL I CAN SAY.. UBER MUST TAKE THE TIME TO RETRAIN THIS SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND TEACH THEM NOT TO ARGUE AND NOT TO TALK OVER THE CUSTOMER AND WHEN A CUSTOMER REQUEST TO SPEAK TO A CALL CENTER MANAGER, SUPERVISOR OR DIRECTOR OF THE CALL CENTER TO SIT AND ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER.. POOR SERVICE. Unprofessional and unrelable

I have ordered Ubereats December 16th 10:15 pm in Johabesburg. Was advised 35 min delivery time, which was rescheduled 5 times. What was odd, is the Uber Map displyed the driver’s location very close to me, for some 15 min, but when calling him up he said he is still in the restaurant. Eventually ended up arriving after 1:15 hour, with cold food (Big MAC) which I then refused taking, leaving it in the delivery guy’s hand. Calling the complaint phone number, and talking to the agent, then to her supervisor (Tan), I was granted 50% discount. I suspect it reflects the amount they may be charging, and probably Uber has no control on the cost the restaurant charges. Bottom line - unprofessional, unreliable, and perhaps deliberately misrepresented in Ubereats advertising and promotion. Stay away !! Haim / New York

Hopefully you never have an issue, but if you do RUN!

Well had an issue that the ubereats system just randomly logged me out and disabled account. Note: using a real phone number not voip, ordered multiple times with no issue, and using exact same card. So literally nothing has changed, but a random log out and locked account. Well you would think this would be a quick fix via an e-mail. Well no, have the responses to the above situation get what seems like automated e-mails and the other half get bot responses. Both responses have nothing to do with the actual issue and at this point I think UberEats has only a handful of support agents to service the entire USA. Hence the reason for all the automated and bot responses. To give you an idea of how atrocious and annoying it is. 32 e-mails later this has still yet to be resolved. Each response I receive says things like "i'm sorry youdidn't like the food you received" etc.! Which has nothing to do with the issue. They also do not have a number to take care of these technical issues. The main ubereats number is mainly for restaurants. If you're a company that wants to know how to be as inefficient and annoying to the customer as possible, take note.

The bank is not going to have someone sit and review each of your financial transactions for the last several years looking for Uber charges. If there has been fraud, report it as such.

Do so according to legal guidelines : in writing served via Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested. Serve copies upon Uber and your financial institution. You must do your own research and decide the amount of your loss. Be specific, brief, polite.

Change all of your passwords to everything.

Remember, this is criminal fraud and somebody is behind it. You need to kick them out and lock the door.
