We have a weakness for McDonalds breakfast. We are regular Uber eats customers.
One of the restaurants we are fairly regular customers of is the McDonalds in Vancouver, WA on Gher Rd.
Third time we have been delivered an incomplete order. This episode was particularly painful. Early Saturday morning with the kids chirping for their breakfast burritos we ordered breakfast. It arrived in a timely manner and low and behold the kids breakfasts were missing.
Again, the third time our order has been bungled. Usually its been a lack of following direction on the coffee and the number of various sauces and one other instance of a missing main course. I called the McDonalds and spoke with a manager. She was very nice and suggested that we get a hold of Uber eats and that they would take care of the issue.
That would be More difficult than it sounded.
I tried to find an email or phone line to Uber Eats directly to let them know that things werent OK this Saturday morning and that I didnt like having to run to a grocery store to pick up items That they didnt include.
Im still trying to get in touch with the Uber eats complaint line. Their telephone numbers online were not connecting and it was Impossible to get a hold of them. And Im sure all of the Uber eats customers like spending a half hour trying to find a way to complain about their service.
That will make you happy when youre frustrated. Just all in all a bad experience.
Thought youd like to know. Carry-on!
User's recommendation: Text your driver your menu items and very politely ask the driver to check the order.
Monetary Loss: $5.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
