My food got stolen and Ubereats didn't care
I ordered $100+ worth of food from Flavortown. Dying to try this restaurant.
What I got was a very dangerous Uber driver who stole my food, replaced it with HALF EATEN BERTUCCIS. So now I have in my house someone else's bodily fluids during COVID. I'm out $100+ and no food. I try to chat.
The chatter ignores my pleas. I call. I get "disconnected." I call again, and KEN refuses my request for a manager. THIS is serious business.
With over 1000+ uses of Uber Eats you would think I would be treated as a great customer.
Their ubereats drivers are also Uber drivers. So next time you decide you want a ride or food, consider that ubereats allows thief, dangerous drivers willing to expose you to whatever they have, underwhelming service, zero service recovery, no sense of moral obligation to their customers, and JUST PLAIN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS.
User's recommendation: FIND SOMEONE ELSE UBEREATS IS DANGEROUS.
Monetary Loss: $108.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
