I used Uber eats for the first time to order coffee for my teacher. When I proceeded to check out it said I paid for chick fil a, I didnt order chick fil a I was charged $12.40 for a meal I have never order or will eat a day in my life.
I tried to cancel the mean but the instructions said I had to download the eats app so as I downloaded the app I called the person who was supposed to bring me the food. As I asked him how to cancel the order because I was charged for a meal I didnt order he hung the phone up in my face.I called back to to have a friend tell him because I was frustrated. Unfortunately he couldnt understand us because he didnt speak English so he hung up again.
He called back asking for instructions so I had my teacher tell him that we didnt want the food. I called Uber service to explain but the man was I believe drab, so he didnt quite understand me also and hung up I called back and the man said I was to receive an email about the issue
User's recommendation: Don’t do it.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
Ubereats Pros: Communication sucks, Poor instructions.
