I placed an order the other day before I hit submit the order processed. After the order processed, I reviewed it and item was missing so where it says you can track your order.

There is a clock that is counting down. It says if you forgot something add it. When I did that the item was still saved on the menu what I exactly picked. I added it.

It mustve been a glitch in Uber system why it didnt add the first time either way it made a whole separate order. I clicked the help button, but there was no phone number to contact Uber eats to explain, I didnt want to separate orders I just needed that item added to my original order like it states! But there was an option to cancel. So I canceled the orders and I started over in the matter of a couple minutes this time making sure everything was added correctly same exact order changed in the matter of two minutes well that being said, I checked my bank statement, and I had four charges on it, so I log back onto the Uber Eats account only way to contact them is through instant messaging so I did!

I had a quick response. Person asked me what could they help me with? I explained to them I had four separate charges one in the amount of 70 something dollars the other amount of 50 something dollars the other amount of 40 something dollars and the other in the amount of 20 something dollars, he said OK. Let me take a look with the first charge of $78 and some change he said thats for membership.

I said hold on a second I never signed up for any $78 membership. He said sorry about that. Cancel and refund me then I talk to someone else , transferred me about my other charges. This person states that hes looking into it he comes back and says.

Well, you canceled the order so youre getting charged for it. I said hold on a second. I literally canceled the order in the matter of a couple minutes and re-ordered the exact same thing. Why am I being charged for it?

I never received it. He said you cancelled the order, I told him I need a phone number to contact someone. He refused he tried to tell me go back onto the app. Its on there and I told him it.

No it is not either way. I told him the restaurant is not out any food. Anyone will come sense can see that the order was placed in in the matter of minutes it was canceled, it was not like they made the food and then after it was made, it was canceled on the way to my house then yeah I can see. I have to pay for that but Im not gonna pay for an order.

I canceled in two minutes the button that says Cance doesnt say if you cancel by the way youre still reliable and must pay for this. If that were the case, nobody would cancel their order unless it was due or die situation! So from there, he just ended the conversation. Nobody was being rude no language nothing like that.

Just the worst customer service Ive ever received. So then asked a question after the chat ended if the issue was resolved, I said no and then another person comes up on chat And they go on and on and on about Im not getting a refund and just in the chat. Im asking for a managers number that I need to call someone and speak to them directly and they still would not give me the number. Another guy comes on or maybe it was a woman I dont know , they state that theyre so sorry that I was charged for a canceled order and theyre gonna fix it and take care of it for me.

and I screenshot that. If your company did nothing wrong, why are you saying sorry and why is your employee saying theyre going to fix it and then they dont! I want my money back and Im not going to stop until I get it back.

I have to go to my governor Better Business Bureau whoever Im going to get it. They owe me 44.40 plus 23.15 for the orders canceled in 2 minutes of placing them and because their place said they were going to take care of it.

Had the exact same thing happen almost verbatim and same level of service. I did manage to contact an actual person but they were just as "helpful" as the online chat.

Happy to know I'm not the only one getting screwed over. Sorry it's happening to others though.

On the 20th of January, I placed an order and didn't receive half of it. I called customer service and they were of no help.

They blamed me because I have had too many refunds. However, I had picture evidence that I didn't receive my orders. Therefore, I filed a dispute with my bank, but then Uber tried to charge me again. When I called customer service again, they told me I had to talk to one of their specialist teams.

However, they called me when I told them I was at work and refused to help.

They are trying to charge me twice. I have pictures to prove everything.

I never received my order

Ubereats - I never received my order

I ordered food and carefully instructed the delivery guy where he should drop it off. I gave him a number to call upon arrival.

He never showed up and he went to his own location which I never gave him. I gave him a call and it never went through. I feel robbed by Uber Eats as it was my first time ordering and I trusted them, but they didn't do me any good, not even a refund. Truecaller revealed the driver is a scam when I called him.

I'm disappointed and I'll never order from Uber Eats again. I'll even spread the word.

I was missing an item from my order in which I was instructed to take a photo. I took the picture and sent it, the response was that I wasnt able to receive my refund.

I contacted customer service and the operator stated they were no longer taking calls from telephone number. I will be escalating this matter.

I have been trying to cash out,and every 3 days says that is not available,even though I suppose to be able to cash out once a day,I add my bank info as well as my debit card,but now it says that a suspicious activity because I added my bank account ,no customer service people can help since they do not know if they are standing or sitting,so they keep shutting down the chat and I can not get any support by phone,since you cut out that service even from the app.you are collecting the money from the service but you do not want to pay the drivers for the service.that is illegal

I am the only one suffering this trauma others are doing very well. Isn't the law equal for everyone?

Who is going to solve this matter?Support team must be right but if they are the one causing trouble now where should I consider contacting? Through legal authorities??

One employee with some understanding does the change to bicycle another interfere and change's again into motorbike This happened more than 5 times.Company emails mentioning my documents are cleared and I can start working but employees causes the drama why?What kind of employees are working in Uber eats support company?Is company aware of it?

The issues are solved for others but mine is always rejected. Reached every possible ways Facebook, Instagram, Twitter but no everyone working are same. Where's such law mentioned that electric bicycle needs driver's license in the world??Does this law even exist?Is it legal to force someone for the documents they don't have which is against the Portuguese law?

Very ungrateful company humiliation and discrimination. Support team are unable to follow the law but illegal and fraudulent activities are supported in another level.

Innocent workers like mine account deactivated purposely just to open other many accounts in exchange of cash. There's no trust that why the business is walking the path of failure. Soon there won't be anyone interested to work. Many customers are already gone.

One person stablish the business in great hope but disloyal employees makes the mess...

International company Uber eats would treat a hardworking person like this is unimaginable. No humanity nothing left .

Still showing no efforts are forcing me to upload driving license for electric bicycle. Isn't electric bicycle considered as a motorized vehicle?

Hello sir/ madam I am writing you this email today in the hope of solving the problem I am going through in which I couldn't find any solution with Uber support team.
Briefing the situation, I am a genuine worker of Uber eats since the last two years never had any issues not any condition violence. Completed each and every deliveries by heart but since the 3 4 months I started to receive messages from Uber saying the face didn't match and also that the vehicle I am riding isn't matched which is shocking because the account is used by only me and the vehicle is a bicycle but it's electrical that runs with the battery.

Which is allowed to ride by the Portuguese government law without any registration nor driver's license.
As you may know there's all kinds of advanced bicycle available in the market these days. Working in old school bicycle is far impossible that's the reason why not only me all the rider's working in Uber eats on bicycle uses these kinds of electric bicycles. If I have committed violation of Uber rules then all the rider's working on Uber eats as a bicycle account are commits the same isn't it??
I am also a user of these kinds of electric bicycle which has a capacity to run in speed as motorbike but without the need of driving license or a number plate.
Hereby I would like to request you to please consider upgrading Uber application adding these kinds of vehicle as an option. Now there's bicycle/ebike, motor bike or car available to choose from.

My vehicle doesn't belong to motor bike that's why my account was registered as bicycle as a vehicle but due to having motor and traveling in speed which was detected by the Uber application my account has automatically changed to motor bike and are asking me to upload driving license which unfortunately I don't have nor my vehicle requires it. This morning my documents were cleared and was able to go back online but someone named Francisco F jumped in and changed my account to motorcycle. This has been very frustrating and harsher for me to prove my innocence even though I've provided all the proof. Forcing for uploading driver's license for the vehicle that doesn't require registration by the law what does that mean??
Is Uber support team more powerful than the Portuguese government??

If it is so then please write me an official email to take this matter to law enforcement to obtain the necessary requirements. Many many times I've asked for the proof of my mistake. Driving a vehicle without a driver's license for more than a year is it possible?? Isn't that a crime??

It's my humble request to Uber to solve this matter. My vehicle type is bicycle and yes it runs with motor never denied but it doesn't require driver's license so please change my account back to as it was.
I am attaching the message of support and also the picture of the vehicle in hope of getting my account active so that I can continue working.
If you want some more information I can provide you every documents you need.

Please visit in-app help for assistance. The in-app assistance was no help, as it only talks about adding a voucher and not submitting an order with an error message if you use the voucher.

I am writing to formally request that both Wells Fargo and Uber Eats cease and desist from further bias customer service, unfair treatment and lack of accountability toward a high paying consumer of your services monthly. regarding the recent issues I have encountered with your customer service and application functionality, there have been accountability dropped on multiple occasions.

Please not < I have lost money using this app now twice in a few days with bad customer service included. On 10/6/2024, I attempted to place an order through the Uber Eats app. Unfortunately, the app malfunctioned repeatedly, returning me to the home screen while I was selecting items. I subsequently attempted to place the order via my phone, only to discover that my selections were not recorded on the activity page.

having multiple issues with delivery drivers before this mishap, create more frustration as I hope you can understand. Upon contacting customer support, I was met with unprofessional behavior, including having 4 seperate reps hang up the phone on me while explaining my issue not being properly resolved. Each time names such as Anna,Mika etc all displayed lack of patience and attitude. I attempted to explain the ongoing issues I faced, but the representatives failed to provide any resolution or appropriate assistance.

Furthermore, I was disturbed to find a suspicious email later indicating that I had engaged in a chat with customer support, which I did not. This appears to be an attempt to misrepresent the status of my complaint and avoid accountability. Number I called : Number called 1-80*-***-**** Note : A little after the phone calls, I noticed a weird email. A mysterious email of a supposed chat resolution attempt by Uber Eats posing as a resolution for my issues.

I called the number above directly to address my concerns, so the email is obviously bogus. I addressed all concerns directly by phone. I was just trying to request that customer service team offer a more practical and responsible solution to this issue that has occurred on numerous occasions in more then one locations.

Thank you for your time and prompt attention to this matter for anyone who read this. Note Wells Fargo has not yet removed pending charge on 10/6/2024 Sometimes they try to allow theses charges after stating they will remove them just to replace current debit card creating false fraud flags.

They refuse to assist.

We ordered from PetSmart through Uber Eats for 3 different orders on November 27. Out of the 3 orders, only 1 order was fulfilled with no issue.

These orders were placed during PetSmart's Black Friday special when they had 50% off on numerous items. I've complained to the company every single day from 11/27/2024 - 12/3/2024.

We ordered several items and it totaled about $765.58. We decided to start off with an $80 tip. The gentleman that was supposed to pickup my order called me to tell me that I had to talk to the sales associates in order for them to look for my order since he didn't speak English.

I spoke to the sales associates and they were really upset and told me that it wasn't part of their job, and they were tired of having to look for my stuff. They confirmed that all the stuff I ordered was available except for the dog food, they only had 3 bags instead of the 8 bags we ordered. They told me he would have to go get the items and I let him know that in Spanish. He called me back and said that that the Uber card he had wasn't going through so he wasn't able to get part of the items that I ordered, which he marked as unavailable.

In the end, I was on the phone with him and the sales associates for a total of about 2 hours. He refused to do anything using the excuse that he didn't speak English and made me figure it out with the sales associates, and the sales associates were taking their frustration out on me. He ended up getting only 2 bags of food and they were both the wrong bags. My order went from about $650 to $160.56 plus the $80 tip I had originally given since he refused to get all of my items.

Obviously, no one would give an $80 tip for a $160.56 order and bad service. I tried to contact Uber right away through the app, they were not able to help me. I found a phone number online and called. They went ahead and reimbursed the 2 bags of dog food after 3 hours of trying to get in contact with them, but when I asked them to change the tip amount, they said that there was nothing they could do.

They said it was too late to change the amount. How is that possible? I explained my situation and told them that I was waiting for them to help me and they said that all they could do was reimburse for the wrong food. I did not agree to an $80 tip for a $160.56 order.

That's a 50% tip for horrible service.

This order was for 3 bags of dog food and was set to be delivered on Sunday, December 1, 2024. The Uber Eats driver only found 2 bags of dog food instead of 3 and when it was adjusted, the price changed (from the subtotal of $96.99) to the price that it was that day ($193.98 - normal price and no longer 50% off - no longer included the sale price). I tried to contact them to get it corrected, but when I chatted with them, they said I would get an email back in 6-12 hours. Never got an email, phone call, or any other form of contact.

The phone number I previously used said that it was no longer taking calls. I'm guessing so many people were having issues that they were also trying to avoid. I finally spoke to someone and they said that if you place and order and the price goes up when it gets delivered the price gets adjusted accordingly.

If I would've known that they don't honor the price they give me when I place the order, I would've never ordered, or would've had it delivered the same day. I don't understand how they can charge more without prior consent.
I expect both of these orders to get fixed or I will be pursuing a case against Uber as California may not care about consumers in their state, but we have consumer protection laws in Texas for a reason.

I ordered through qdobas website today and my order never arrived. I called the driver and he said the address he was provided through uber was a South Clermont address and that is where he delivered my food.

He said he cant help me since he did exactly what he was provided by Uber and to contact customer support. I called Qdoba and they said it's fully on Uber and they can't do anything. The order was never received and was delivered to a completely wrong address that isn't even associated with my Uber or qdoba account.

Uber now doesn't have a customer support and you have to go through their app. But when you order through a company and uber is the 3rd party for delivery, it doesn't go through your uber account and doesn't show up on the app.

There is absolutely NO way to contact them and get a refund. I called the only number I could find which is for merchant support, and they said they can't help me and to email help@***.com.

Well that email bounces back as it doesn't exist. So now I'm out $40 with no way to get it back because uber eats sucks

Wrong order and no refunds even when proven

I've had several wrong orders/missing items lately. When I try to complain online, it shows an error message.

When I call customer support, they say they're not allowed to refund and they will review.

When I receive the message, it says the order isn't eligible for refund. I send a picture for proof and still get ignored and never refunded.
