I have had nothing but issues with Uber Eats all morning. I placed an order for Starbucks only to be contacted by the driver and told that per Starbucks my order had already been picked up by another driver yet the app said it was still in progress.
Starbucks refused to re-make it. I cancelled the order and submitted a new order. I received a call from the manager at Starbucks that they had received multiple orders in my name and FOUR drivers had picked up orders for me - NONE OF WHICH I EVER RECEIVED!!! A driver named Felicia was picking up the new order I placed and was aware of all the confusion.
I was on the phone with her while she was at Starbucks and the employee told her he was making my order and everything was fine. Then out of nowhere I get a notification that support cancelled my order and I would STILL BE CHARGED $26.60! Are you serious! Why was it cancelled in the first place with ZERO explanation and no way whatsoever to speak directly with someone about it??
I will NEVER EVER use Ubereats again! I'll stick to Door Dash!!!
