New ReviewerDriver lied 2x about my order so he could eat it himself because my order was canceled as the app showed he arrived. He read my text about delivery to the front desk for my sick father in a nursing home.
This was 30 mins after a customer service rep called me to ask if I want the dood to still be delivered as driver is reporting the bag is open, but food is ok.
Chat reps did not listen to my concerns on the chat as I asked for a number to speak with a live person over the phone. They told me that they cannot provide a number even after I told them that the app is not giving me the phone option as it has in the past.
User's recommendation: Use other apps.
Monetary Loss: $43.
Preferred solution: Refund for inconvenience of disputing for an hour while having to reorder and wait another hour..
Ubereats Pros: Variety of foods.
Ubereats Cons: Delivery slow, No able to reach customer service, Messed up order.
